New CROOKERS Album Out Soon!

Just got great news. The kings of today's electro music scene are coming out with a brand new full length album called "Tons of Friends". This will take the world by storm just like it did with the Kid Cudi "Day and Night" Remix which was played everywhere. I can guarantee that this will be hitting the dance floors all over the globe in a matter of time.The line up of collaborations are endless and amazing. Montreal's own Ghislain Poirier will be making a presence with Face-t, Toronto native Kardinal Offishal, Spank Rock, The french beauty Yelle, the one and only Miike Snow, Soulwax, Diplo and switch as Major Lazer and unfortunately,
Will I Am. As you can see, this is not just hype on my part, this will be a masterpiece of electro from our time. You can pre-order and find the unveiled tracklist on the Crookers blog. You can also download some great half hour mixtapes by Crookers on the page also. Check it out here. http://www.crookers.net

:: Makia Clothing ::

Brand new from the Scandinavian island of Finland, comes new clothing company Makia.
Created by a group of Fins including pro snowboarder Joni Malmi, this brand presents an upcoming collection of clothing with nice clean lines and simple designs. A new style taking over the action sport industry, where clothing companies are focusing on cut and sew designs as opposed to simply printing their logo on a basic t-shirt or hoody. The collection is comfortable and warm, perfect for our Canadian climate.

To make their catalog, these guys took upon themselves the crazy task of traveling the globe in 28 days to photograph "Makia type people".
You can find some of those photos HERE.
Of them you will find local Montrealer Sylvester Calin, owner of the rad Brakeless fixed gear shop.(shown below)
This is definitively a fresh new brand and I am looking forward to finding it in our local shops.
Their first collection (Fall 09/Winter 10) should be in stores soo.
You can already find it online at retailers such as Zoovillage, Junkyard, ...

:: Tiny Little chairs Part Dos ::

So our pals at Bruxe, are making some advancements on the chairs we worked on with them a few months ago. This Colab featuring Bruxe and Uranium consists of five of the modern contemporary design chairs that were scaled way down to be re-created as pendants for the uber cool design freaks.
Their website is up and an online store should follow soon.
Keep an eye out for these tiny little chairs, they are hot stuff.

Limited Edition DC "P.K Ripper" Bikes in Seoul.

Riding around my favorite area in Seoul called Apgujeong, i discovered yet another fixed gear bike shop in Seoul. The store is called Pinnacle. The owner is a great guy who speaks English and has a wonderful shop. With a large collection of Alife shoes, limited edition Nikes, which some are only found in this store. A large collection of stussy shirts and hats. What caught my attention is the fixed gear bikes outside and inside. Pinnacle is the only store in Korea to have the Limited edition DC shoes project bike called the "P.K Ripper". What an amazing looking bike. Pinnacle has three for sale at wish list prices. Pinnacle also has a large supply of Rotterdam bikes from Holland which are beautiful simple bikes. They also have some custom Cinelli bikes which are very popular here in Korea. I will leave you with some pictures of the limited edition DC project bike and some pictures of the store. Check them out, next time your passing by in Korea. From Seoul, this is Shaun Micheal

:: Lacie Key USB Key ::

Found this through the Mocoloco website, Lacie came out with these usb keys that resemble a regular key. Its about time someone does this because I know I've made fun of friends for carrying around their data with them everywhere. At least this way they can be discrete about it.

::Tiny Little chairs::

Our good friends at Bruxe commissioned me to do some design work for them a few months ago. What they wanted to do was create a series of design chair pendants for all the design freaks out there.  Well these pendants are about to drop soon and im giving you a advance preview of the goods.
