:: New Museum of Contemporary Art ::

While in New-York during the holidays, I managed to make a stop at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in the Lower east side. With its reasonable rates, and waits, this Museum is a great stop. Just the design of the building was enough for me to want to go. The new building was designed by Tokyo-based architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa/SANAA with Gensler, New York, serving as Executive Architect, and was completed in December of 2007.
On exhibition, were the works of Urs Fischer, incorporating a bunch of hallucinogenic pieces that must be seen in person to be truly appreciated.
The images below were taken from the New Museum's website and give you an idea of what to expect.
